Subject: [PATCH 1/3] Apply Jeroen van Meeuwen's and Nobu Nakada's OpenSSL 1.0 compatibility patch: http://redmine.ruby-lang.org/issues/show/2022; slightly modified. Verified to work OpenSSL 0.9.
