Backport #1940

Segmentation fault on TestFiber#test_many_fibers_with_threads (make check)
Added by luislavena (Luis Lavena) over 14 years ago.
Updated almost 12 years ago.
Description
=begin
When executing make check for 1.9.1-p243, TestFiber with threads generated a failure and silently terminated.
There is no backtrace of such event. Going to plug GDB to trace it (since is a MinGW built).
Is someone there that made or complete executing Ruby 1.9.1 tests?

I always have to delete test_io.rb and test_fiber.rb before running
make test-all, for the reason you describe.
Well, another note to make me feel less confident about releasing
1.9.1 massively to the public.
At least 1.8.6 fails with 4 non-critical tests, while 1.9.1 segfaults
in something that some users would like to explore: fibers and native
threads.
