Bug #21207
closedCSV gem not installing in head
Description
The current MinGW workflow in Ruby shows:
skipped bundled gems:
csv-3.3.4.gem not found in bundled_gems
I verified the same locally with both a Windows UCRT build and an Ubuntu build, and the ruby-loco builds are also failing.
The current line in bundled_gems
:
csv 3.3.3 https://github.com/ruby/csv e0874e47e2730dacccdb0c534a2cdc073d3bdaea
If one changes that to the below, ruby-loco builds pass.
csv 3.3.4 https://github.com/ruby/csv e0874e47e2730dacccdb0c534a2cdc073d3bdaea
But, Ruby's CI fails in the ./.github/actions/setup/directories
step.

I have a GitHub repo github-actions-ruby-info that logs information about Ruby builds on most GHA supported platforms.
None of the current Ubuntu and macOS head builds have csv installed. The current ruby-loco builds have csv installed, as I patched it earlier today.

Could you try master? It includes https://github.com/ruby/ruby/commit/cfa74dda4547c7ef4d3510b729bad8cc6299e523 .

Thanks. Re ruby-loco, I removed the patch I had Sunday AM US and CSV is now included.
I just checked the Ubuntu & macOS head builds on GHA, and they also have CSV installed. IIRC, they're built every 24 hours.
So, the commit you linked to fixed the issue.
