Backport #8580
closedLatest download of Ruby 1.9.3 has an inconsistent version of date_core.c
Description
The latest download of 1.9.3 as of this bug filing is Ruby 1.9.3-p448 which apparently corresponds to revision 41675
The file ext/date/date_core.c in this download does not match what should be in revision 41675
I was unable to find an exact revision number for the version of date_core.c bundled with 1.9.3-p448, but the closest revision appears to be 35002
The version of date_core.c included with 1.9.3-p448 is missing an important fix included in 36265 and detailed in:
https://bugs.ruby-lang.org/issues/6683#change-27754
The latest stable version of Ruby Ruby 2.0.0-p247 does appear to include the fix from 36265.
